Each week, I post a quote, part of a poem, or another medium of words that I have found inspiring in the What's New section of my website.

This week, they are words from the poet David Whyte from his poem Sweet Darkness. I came across this verse in an interview he did with Krista Tippett for her On Being podcast (something I can't recommend highly enough.)

"Sometimes it take darkness and the sweet / confinement of your aloneness / to learn / anything or anyone / that does not bring you alive / is too small for you. " David Whyte

I was struck by this verse, it touched me deeply, inspiring me to share this with you this week.
