There’s a big focus on communication this week. After messenger Mercury enters Taurus Monday, it connects to two planets this week—there’s a Mercury/Saturn Square on Tuesday and Mercury/Uranus Conjunction on Thursday.

Reflecting the former, it’s important to not cut corners when it comes to communications. Try not to be impatient when you’re accessing information, as just skimming the surface can backfire by not providing you with the depth and breadth of facts you need for clarity. When sharing a message, go slow and be deliberate; following agreed-upon rules and design principles will help you delivery insights and wisdom more efficiently…let alone save you stress and time in the long run.

All the while, we’re encouraged to do so while also thinking out of the box, thanks to the Mercury/Uranus Conjunction. Expect the unexpected when it comes to the news, while also being open to receiving and sharing information in new and innovative ways. Remember that detours can be illuminating, taking you down paths you may not have traveled, providing you with riches from a journey that you may not have yet taken otherwise.

Also, this week, we have the Venus/Neptune Square. This alignment invites us to be more compassionate with those with whom we are in partnership. Doing something pleasurable for yourself—and not feeling guilty about it—may also feel like it offers you even more reward this week.

That said, this week we may also find ourselves filled with longing, likely for friends, family, and colleagues we miss, who we may not have been seeing owing to social distancing. It’s also an important time to pay attention to your finances, as we want to minimize the dissolution (Neptune) of money (Venus).

This Venus/Neptune Square makes additional appearances in the coming months; the reason that it’s going to happen two more times, rather than this be its one and only visit, is because Venus will be going retrograde on May 13 (through June 25). The other dates for it include May 20 (when Venus is retrograde) and July 27.

Another thing that this extended Venus/Neptune Square may bring is our ability to tap into our dreams as a vehicle not only for delight but to also discover a deeper sense of what’s valuable to us in our lives.
