As the week begins, we’re still floating in a sea where things feel dissolved and connected, where separation may feel like an illusion. This yielding may yield experiences that touch upon the magical and yet they can also yield feelings that touch on the overwhelming, as if we feel a moment away from the tides of emotions overtaking us. Find a way to keep your heart open and compassionate while also maintaining a steady state as you ride the waves of the ever-connected.
Mid-week the tone seems to shifts. As the Sun charges from Pisces into Aries, we enter a month-long period where a battle cry may seem to call us. To guard against feeling incited for incitement’s sake, consider just what it is that you want to champion. What catalyzes a feeling of raw passion so deep that you want to want to channel your will and energy head-on in order to advocate for it? Consider what causes you want to fight for, what ideas you want to go to bat for.
Find ways to marshal your will while also learning more about how you handle frustration and impatience. Not only are these the themes of the next weeks, but with the Sun uniting with Chiron in Aries, we may find these coming days offer us a magnifying glass as to the personal narratives we have that keep us from springing into action on behalf of the essentialities of life. This experience may touch deep into our core, to the tender spots we have that we may have covered up, owing to the sorrow that bleeds from it. Yet, having the courage to look at ingrained feelings of inadequacy when it comes to owning our individuality and our ability to be effectual can give us the spirited awareness needed to find a deeper sense of healing.
As Aries season begins, we arrive at the Vernal Equinox. This shift in seasons also brings our attention to a sense of balance, of light and dark, yin and yang, positive and negative. Interestingly enough, this year we greet the Equinox with a Libra Full Moon, itself offering an activated opportunity to find harmony, including between our needs to blossom and our desire to honor those with whom we partner. It may not necessarily be easy, notably given that Venus and Mars square off this week. Yet, even if finding dialogue between our values and our desires requires a lot of patience and agility, concentrating on it feels like it can be key. For more on the Full Moon, see here.
As the week comes to a close, and Mercury unites with Neptune, we could find our attention again pulled towards the diffuse, sublime, imaginative, and dreamy. Our minds may swim in the symbolic realms and we could find our thoughts infused with more compassion. A walk by the water, relaxing bath, or meditative moment with a cup of tea may ground our concentration. With boundaries between realities more hazy, it's important to discern whether words reflect grounded truth or just idealistic possibilities so as to be able to trust the veracity of what's being communicated. Our attunement to others may be heightened and yet without confident clarity of sight we run risk of misappropriating what is really true in the moment.
