Stellar Insights: November 22 - 28, 2021

This week the focus is on messenger planet Mercury.

The first few days feature Mercury at the end of deep-diving Scorpio. If we’re working on a writing project, in the midst of heated discussions, or just at the tip of the iceberg of understanding the source of anxiety that arose the other day, we could find ourselves corralling the endurance and tenacity to stay the course. We know that there is more to access. And while we may feel stretched beyond limits, we can discover ways to keep going. As we do, and treasures of insight arrive, we will feel that all the digging was worth it.

As Mercury enters Sagittarius on Wednesday, where it will reside through December 13, our mental orientation may seem to shift. Instead of seeing things from a close to the ground (or underground) perspective, we want to get a broad and overhead angle. Big pictures and wider understanding become more interesting, as does a philosophical and cross-cultural orientation.

With Mercury uniting with the South Node, we may have the opportunity to further perceive ways of thinking and the mental constructs that we’ve inherited. If you’ve recently recognized self-limiting stories that keep you from fully using your voice, do a ritual in support of committing to release them.

Finally as the weekend approaches and Mercury approaches the Sun, our minds may feel brightened. We may find ourselves pulled to gather with others, engaging in conversations that edge into discussions that allow us to further understand our and others’ beliefs. Don’t be surprised if you want to go on a quest to further discover what is true and what is your truth.

Finally, don’t forget that we’re still in the midst of Eclipse Season. The Lunar Eclipse occurred on November 19. On December 4, we have a Sagittarius New Moon Solar Eclipse. Throughout this time, things may feel like they are really shifting and yet unclarity and haze fills the air. As the Eclipses pass, the fog may lift and we can gain more awareness as to where things are proceeding. As frustrating as it can be when things are obscured, try to have patience; the results may be better than rushing to a premature conclusion.
