You know that walking-through-molasses, not-getting-traction, unclear-of-the-path feeling you may have experienced at points during the last six weeks or so? Well, that’s about to change.

With Mercury ending its retrograde cycle on Thursday, not only does this mean the messenger planet is now moving direct, but, in fact, all planets are now in direct motion (and will be until April 29 when Pluto goes retrograde).

And with this, all of the reflection, review, reassessment, and re-evaluation that we’ve been doing for the past several months may begin to bring forth a greater level of clarity that we can use to spearhead our plans, projects, and pursuits. Remember though that Mercury even after it begins moving forward does so slowly, it’s prudent to take some time to rev up your cylinders for sharing the distilled understanding you’ve captured over the past little while. There’s not that much rush to jump out of the gate quickly on February 3 and get everything going. After all, with all planets direct through the end of April, there will be plenty of time for advancement and progress. Plus, on February 4, with the Sun/Saturn Conjunction, diligent effort is more greatly rewarded than a rush to action.

That said, the energy may seem to shift even before Thursday. After all, early in the week (late at night on the West Coast and just after midnight on the East Coast), we greet a New Moon and the invitation to nurture seeds of intentionality that we want to grow over the coming four weeks. With the Sun and Moon in Aquarius, collective themes may revolve around collectives, logistics, networks, science, technology, and humanitarian efforts. Given that the New Moon squares eccentric Uranus, see how detours can expand your knowledge base and how being flexible can connect you to deeper levels of creativity.

One additional note: Monday, before the New Moon, while the Moon is balsamic, and with Mercury is in the final days of its retrograde, the energy may feel really dissipated, sluggish, and hazy. Allow, don’t push. Attune to the quiet rather than seeking out too much volume. Go inward to discover stillness and awareness. Monday is a lovely day to connect with yourself to feel more centered and clarified, before the energy shifts and we begin to feel more galvanized to embark upon new pursuits.

Have a beautiful week!
