Stellar Insights: March 14 - 20, 2022

A sense of illumination arrives later this week when the Full Moon lights up the night sky. Featuring the Sun in Pisces and the Moon in Virgo, this lunation calls on us to see both the differences and the similarities. While we may be drawn to classify and criticize, remembering that everything is connected—even if we can’t immediately perceive it—can yield a greater acceptance of self and others. This Full Moon provides an opportune time to focusing on healing imbalances in our physical bodies through meditation, prayer, dreamwork, and our creative imagination. We can find systems that help us to further our connection to tap into experiences streaming with love, beauty, and grace.

We may find ourselves with a strong urge to be of assistance. As you do so, it’s important to remember that service need not equal sacrifice. To give is one thing, to give everything away is yet another. If we don’t replenish our personal ocean of inspiration, we will experience an emotional drought that will not only deplete our life force but also our ability to continue to be of service to others.

We may find ourselves swimming in idealism, striving to make things be as best as they can. While this may feel virtuous, just watch that you don’t set unrealistic expectations for yourself and/or others. Remember that perfection is an illusion, a false benchmark which when held as a goal can only but lead us down a path of worry, anxiety, and suffering.

All the while Venus and Uranus come together in a tricky square alignment. Be open-minded when you consider what is of value to you. Let yourself not pre-judge that inquiry; rather, from an unattached place, allow yourself to be surprised when it comes to realizing just what it is that holds true richness in your life. With this, you may also find that relationships need to be approached from a different angle, and that shake-ups may shake out staid ways of relating, breathing new life into partnerships, allowing them---and the people involved in them—new possibilities to express themselves.

On Sunday we have the Vernal Equinox and the Sun shifting into Aries. And with that, we may find that we have more spring in our step and feel galvanized to take action in pursuit of things that have been speaking to us emotionally. That’s not to say that the Pisces energy of riding the waves is complete; after all, next week we will have messenger Mercury connecting to both expansive Jupiter and numinous Neptune in Pisces and we’re still swimming towards the Jupiter/Neptune Conjunction on April 12. Yet, amidst all of the boundary blurring, heightened sensitivity, and go-with-the-flow directives we’re feeling, it seems that when the Sun is in Aries we’ll be able to muster a little bit more moxie, discover more initiative, and feel the fire in our belly to activate our will in pursuit of our desires.
