What Does Desire Feel Like? Tracking the Moon/Mars Conjunction

What does desire feel like? How do you know what strategies feel right? What's your instinctual way of dealing with frustration? Does the way you process anger nourish you? Do you manage your energy well? Are you a champion for your own nurturance? Were your mother and/or grandmothers good willpower role models?

These are some of the Stellar Reflection Questions that we may be finding ourselves focusing on over the coming months, owing to the upcoming Mars Retrograde. I can't help but wonder whether these particular questions aren't particularly rife for examination especially when Mars is uniting with the Moon (like it is today) over this planetary cycle, owing to what each planet reflects: Mars, as mirror to desires, strategies, actions, will, energy, anger, and related arenas; and the Moon as mirror to our needs, habits, body, mother and mothering, and related arenas. 

As such, I wanted to offer you the days/times that the Moon will be dancing together with Mars; these dates cover the span of the Mars Retrograde cycle, including the shadow periods before and after when Mars is direct; these periods are important because Mars is etching the landscape that it is when the planet shifts backwards to re-cover territory already just experienced. 

If you're interested you could write these days in a journal and then see whether by reflecting upon the Stellar Reflection Questions above, you don't but gain a newly evolved understanding of some of these arenas in your life over the next handful of months. When you look back on your journal, see if you can play connect-the-dots when it comes to seeing the unfolding of a pattern and newly etched lessons learned.
