In my book The Complete Guide to Astrological Self-Care, I share insights on how to navigate the 24 different New and Full Moons; the retrograde cycles of Mercury, Venus, and Mars; and periods of life I call Stellar Life Stages. Below you will find dates for the upcoming lunations and retrograde cycles as well as a resource to be able to determine more precisely when you are moving through a Stellar Life Stage.

Stellar Life Stages

Astrology offers us the ability to understand the opportunities and challenges that different period of our lives contain. And while how our life unfolds is unique to all of us, there are certain periods of our life—which I call Stellar Life Stages—that we all experience at the same time as our peers. These include those such as the Jupiter Return, Saturn Return, Pluto Square, Uranus Opposition, Neptune Square, and Chiron Return, all of which are featured in The Complete Guide to Astrological Self-Care. And while there you will find the general age range that encompass these Stellar Life Stages, I thought you may be interested in honing in on exactly when these occur for you.

And while this is something that you would usually need an astrologer to help you determine, unless you have your own astrology software, there is actually a great feature called the Natal Transits Search Engine on the AstroSeek website where you can find these periods. You can find it here. (A brief primer on how to use it. First put in your birth information. Then consider the Stellar Life Stage in which you’re interested. For example, let’s say you wanted to learn about your Saturn Return, you would note “Saturn” in the box both under Transits and Natal, and “0 Con” (this means a conjunction, another way to frame a planet’s Return) under Aspects. You would then select “Transits Only” under Transits/Progres./Solar Arc and then click Calculate.)

Please note that while the website will give you the exact dates for when the planet in the sky makes an alignment with the planet in your chart, that the invitation of a Stellar Life Stage begins a bit before and extends a bit afterwards.

To further hone in on not only the time period but also the personal invitation that this period offers you, you could seek out the guidance of an astrologer. This is something that I look to when working with my clients, helping them to more confidently and consciously understand these periods of their life. If this is something that you’d like to explore, you can find more information on my Stellar Guidance Sessions here.
