Stellar Insights: May 21 - 27, 2018

We’re now in Gemini Season, a month in which curiosity is our compass, and crafting and sharing a message takes on greater meaning. A potent need-to-know could have us chasing down any and all routes to gather information; while satisfying, if done in an unbridled and untethered way it can be exhausting and taxing on our nervous system. Take things in, but also take time to digest them. And don’t forget to breathe.
One of the stars of the week is the Jupiter/Neptune Trine, a harmonious connection between the two planets that govern the mystical and compassionate sign of Pisces. It’s the second of three, with the first happening December 2 (2017) and the third on August 19. While occurring exactly on Friday, it paints itself across this current period, notably with Mercury, the planet of communication, tying into both planets earlier in the week.
Reflecting the Jupiter/Neptune Trine, this week we may find ourselves open to knowledge that comes from things that are more subtle and un-contained—including art, poetry, the numinous, the water, the loves that binds us all, simple gestures of caring, and things that move, touch and inspire us. Boundaries and edges may seem softer, allowing us a greater level of feeling and connectivity; yet, watch that this also doesn’t leave you overwhelmed by too much input—whether from emotions, information, or energetics—that could cause a feeling of ungroundedness, spaciness, or anxiety.
Mid-week, with the Sun making a harmonious aspect to warrior Mars, we could find that there’s a palpable call to action streaming around and through us. People may seem more lit up than usual when it comes to asserting themselves or galvanizing their will in honor of their desires. There’s momentum to make progress, to fuel ourselves in a battle that seems important, perhaps for a community to which we are connected.
As the weekend is in sight, an understanding that was residing below the surface, perhaps hidden from our conscious or unconscious minds, may be unearthed. Choose your words wisely as they have power, notably in giving new life to what seemed like a stagnant situation.
Also at this time, our eyes also turn to the topic of value. If we haven’t been declaring our personal sense of value, we may see how that has eroded the worth we feel in certain relationships. Alternatively, we may also see how investments we’ve made with people who honor agreements are offer us a payoff. The theme of value may also translate into money matters as the weekend offers us an opportunity to take an honest look at how we make and spend money, and to see whether any adjustments may be necessary to feel more sustainable in the short- and long term.
