Stellar Kids Book Proceeds Donated To Help Immigrant Kids in Need

I am heartbroken by what is happening on the U.S.-Mexico border, with families being separated, kids forcibly taken from their parents. I can imagine you are as well. The parents and the children are being housed in what seems like prisons. It is cruel and inhumane and so extremely upsetting.

I sat in my heartbreak for days, all the while thinking what could I do to help. Helping inform others as to what’s going on is one step, and donating my own money is another. But I felt like there was something more, or even a way to combine the two.

An idea came to me and psychotherapist Aimee Hartstein: to donate the proceeds of our e-book Stellar Kids to an organization that is on the front lines helping the children. We have chosen Kids in Need of Defense.
