October 13, 2019: Aries Full Moon

What do I want in a relationship? What actions do I feel drawn to take to further having partnerships that serve my best interest? What am I willing to fight for when it comes to deriving the highest value from my social and romantic connections? These are some of the questions that may arise for us during the time of the Aries Full Moon. With the Moon in passionate, self-initiated Aries and the Sun in social, striving-for-balance Libra, we could likely find ourselves mobilized to wage battles to find a greater sense of peace and harmony in our relationship life.

Additionally, we may find ourselves striving for more peace and harmony in our inner and outer worlds. Our attention may also be turning to such questions as: What would it take to have more grace and pleasure in my life? How do I define beauty and how can I bring it more into my life? What is my individual style and how can I express it more? What are my primary values, those that I would be willing to go into battle for?

The Aries Full Moon may also inspire our need to be a champion for the Libran ideals of justice and equality. We could find ourselves tapping into a deeper level of courage that ignites our ability to step out into the battle field, to fight for ideals and values that we see as essential. We may be more inflamed when we notice something to not be fair, galvanized into action to have the balance be recalibrated.

These battles may surprise us and/or we may find ourselves surprised by how we engage and/or what we find merits the richness that’s worth fighting for. After all, this Full Moon illuminates the sky the day after values-reflecting Venus and shake-it-up Uranus form an exact opposition alignment (on October 12).

This Full Moon truly packs a punch, notably given that it makes an exact square alignment to Pluto. We’re once again feeling like we’re in the cross-fires of the urge to deconstruct-to-reconstruct that’s coloring our times. We could feel galvanized to let go of that which truly feels dead, isn’t sustainable, and doesn’t yield vitality. It’s a time less about doing the “nice thing” and more about doing the “right thing” with “right” tapping into our deep survival instincts. We may orient and act as if we didn’t even have a choice in the matter; it could feel as if we need to let things go and be a champion for the essentialities of life in fierce and passionate ways. Things may seem like they are taking on a deep bass note, as we lose patience with superficialities and find ourselves with an unavoidable need to get to the heart of the matter.

With Pluto just recently stationing direct (October 3), we may find that what was stirring that week comes to light with even greater luminosity.

This Full Moon occurs at 21 Libra (Sun) and Aries (Moon). While most people will connect to this lunar event,, those with planets or points (Ascendant, Descendent, Nadir, and/or Midheaven) near these degrees in these signs or the other two cardinal signs—Cancer and Capricorn—may feel it more personally.
