Stellar Insights: June 10 - 16, 2019
The week begins with the Sun/Jupiter Opposition and with that we may find ourselves with the desire to expand our reach. We may want to tap into a larger world and orient so that we feel that we have more options than we previously did. And as we survey the landscape for opportunities in which to engage, we need to also remember that there is only so much that we can do at one time; we need to be careful not to overestimate our resources or we could find that while we’ve been optimistic of our capacity there are certain things that get left behind and not attended to. (I say this full well having experienced it; on my last day of vacation in Portugal, I realized even with what I thought was careful planning that I didn’t have the ability to write these weekly Stellar Insights on Monday as I usually do, needing to wait until now—Tuesday as I am on the airplane, itself quite a reflection of Jupiter in travel-oriented Sagittarius—to complete this.)
Relatedly another theme that may weave itself throughout the week is that of the promise. This may be reflected in numerous ways.
As we survey our life, we may envision just what promise we want our life to hold: What dreams or longings do we have? For what aims or goals do we strive?
We may see this positively. We may look and see life promises fulfilled. And/or we may use this orientation to look to our future and see what it is that we want to create.
Alternatively, we may be flooded with feelings and/or memories of what we felt was the promise of life—for ourselves or others—and note that life isn’t matching up to its potential. This could beckon sorrow, frustration, or disillusionment.
Promise may also be a featured theme reflective of the promises that we’ve made to people and/or those that others have made to us. Our thoughts may turn to the generosity we’ve encountered—whether from ourselves to others, or vice versa—as if a fountain of compassion has guided one’s ability to be able to offer another a life of more promise and potential.
Alternatively, we could see that promises made are not able to be fulfilled. It could be that they didn’t have the rooting of reality from the beginning or resources have disappeared since they were offered that have gotten in the way of their fulfillment. A feeling of loss may arise and/or upset experienced as we see that a reality we believed had promise will not come into form.
The reason I feel promise to be such a strong theme is related to this week’s Jupiter/Neptune Square as well as the starring role that Neptune itself plays this week and the next.
The Jupiter/Neptune Square is an alignment that weaves itself throughout this year. The first of the exact connections between the planet of expansion and the planet of unity occurred January 13, the second on June 16, and the third this September 21.
As such, this focus on promise may not feel isolated to just the here and the now. Rather, it may be experienced as something that has been unfolding since early this year and something that also seems isn’t ripe for conclusion or resolution right now; This makes sense since it’s an evolving process.
Perhaps the way to frame what is occurring now is through that lens, the lens of an evolution. See how the themes of promise that are being evoked now feel like they are connected to situations or perspectives that arose early this year: What similarities does then and now have? How do they feel like they are part of a similar story for you?
Then take what you perceive and consider what resolution or healing would look like.
Hold that vision and that intention, seeing it as a blueprint from which you can design your life over the next several months, so that you can create a life with more meaning, joy, and promise.
