Support Hurricane Dorian Relief + Enter to Win a Free Astrology Session
There is a lot of suffering in the world. And sometimes when a huge tragedy strikes we get overwhelmed and feel paralyzed to act, whether through not knowing how or because of feeling mired in a tidal wave of emotions or feeling that the situation is so much bigger than we are. Yet, our individual actions of support—whether through donations, service work, lending a helping hand, and/or creating a call to action—is important and powerful, and can make a world of difference. During this time in our collective world, doing what we can for those in need feels ever more essential.
Like you, I’ve been struck by the devastation that Hurricane Dorian has created. Untold numbers of people have died, tens of thousands have lost their homes and livelihoods, and nature has been turned asunder. And while Dorian cut a wide swathe of damage, it was areas in the Bahamas that saw the most devastation.
To rally support, I decided to create this virtual fundraiser, inspiring you with additional incentive to donate to help those in the Bahamas. Just send me a note that you’ve donated at least $10 to a non-profit organization of your choice that’s helping those in need, and you will get a chance to win a free 30-minute astrology session with me.
The sessions will be done online via Zoom so you can have a session wherever you are in the world. For every 18 people who donate I will give one astrology session away at random. Sessions can be done anytime through the end of 2019.
All you need to do is write me here or send me a DM on Instagram with your email address and telling me that you’ve made a donation. You don’t even need to tell me how much or to which organization (although if you want to, please do). I take your word on it.
This fundraiser will go through Friday, September 13, at 11:59 pm Pacific Daylight Time.
I will contact the astrology sessions winners separately through email.
If you’re not sure where to donate, here and here and here and here you can find articles that offer a round-up of some organizations.
I thank you for your support of the people of the Bahamas stricken by Hurricane Dorian, aiding in their rescue, relief, and recovery.
