Stellar Insights: October 17 - 23, 2022

Venus takes center stage this week. Not only is it dancing with numerous planets but it’s doing so as it resides in Libra, one of the signs in which its expression is most innate and natural.

As it makes a harmonious trine to Mars on Tuesday, don’t be surprised if you feel quite energized when it comes to thinking about subject matters such as peace, equality, and fairness. And then, as it forms a push-pull square alignment with deep-dive Pluto on Thursday, we may find ourselves plumbing the surface to excavate what it is that truly has value to us. Honor the urge to be honest—whether with yourself or others—about financial matters, what you find pleasurable, and your social priorities.

As the weekend comes into sight, and Venus unites with the Sun, there’s a greater illumination and regaling of the feminine. This may have us attend more consciously to themes such as receptivity, affinity, seduction, and magnetism as well as relationships. Regarding the latter, the focus may not just be on those with whom we are in relationship—our partner/s and/or friends and/or client/s, et al.—but about the virtue and experience of relating itself.

The significant impact of relating and its inexorable link to the feminine—as well as the transformative power that it holds—was gracefully captured in a line of the article "Women, Life, Freedom!" by Nazli Rahmanian that is featured on the website of The Salome Institute. (The link to this poignant article about the feminine and the uprisings in Iran can be found here.)

“I feel that a part of living our own feminine nature, regardless of our gender, is to opt for living in relationship to the world rather than seeking domination over it.” - Nazli Rahmanian

My wish for this week in which Venus shines bright is that this—the upholding of being in relationship to and with, and the connection and the reverence it inspires for all that lives—takes on more precedence in our collective consciousness. And that in upholding and expressing the feminine in this way, we can usher in more grace, harmony, and beauty.

All the while, it’s important to pay attention to foundations this week. With Saturn stationing direct on Sunday, we may become more aware of the necessity to be in integrity, and what that even means and looks like. Don’t overlook the important of dotting your i’s and crossing your t’s. Focus on the bones of things, strengthening structures where you can. And if delays seem to abound and things appear to be moving at the speed of molasses, be in the flow of that. Watch for—and try to avoid—the propensity to both rush through things and cut corners, as the negative consequence for doing so may become readily apparent. Remember that not only is time an essential ingredient in any recipe, and look for examples that reflect how wisdom and age can be inextricable partners.

Also on Sunday, Scorpio Season begins and with that we enter a month in which emotions run high and passions may be quite stirring. Remember that if you’re noticing the peaking of possible big shifts and yet how they will fully develop is not clear, try not to worry too much. The Scorpio Solar Eclipse is on the horizon (occurring on October 25) and with that things may feel quite obscured and eclipsed. Be open to what you feel, what is arising, knowing that clarity will emerge over the coming weeks. More on this next week.

Until then,

Wishing you the beautiful joy of connection,

xxStephanie
