Stellar Insights: March 21 - 27, 2022
Messenger Mercury and warrior Mars seem to be quiet active this week. Let’s focus in on them to see what they’re doing and what that may inspire.
First let’s start with Mercury and its union with both expansive Jupiter and numinous Neptune and its the sextile it’s making to transformative Pluto, which is all happening while Mercury is in the sign of aquatic Pisces. With this, I’d encourage you to:
Think big. Let your mind expand its perspective so that it may take in facts and figures, ideas and inspirations, that don’t usually pass through the radar of a more narrowed orientation. Additionally, see how you may expand the reach of any messages that are exquisitely important to you.
Allow yourself to dream. Make space to encourage your thoughts to wander along a more circuitous and winding path, seeing what treasures exist outside of a more logical approach to assessment and understanding. In addition to dreaming, prayers and thoughts infused with healing may have more additional power.
Allocate some time for being still. Allow quiet to center you as well as have you listen in more deeply. Revere what you hear. Even if the silence allows for feelings of fear or sorrow to be louder, know that opening to them, rather than shunning them, can help them transform and tap you into a deeper well of compassion that will nourish you and others.
On Sunday, messenger Mercury blazes into Aries. And with that, communication may move more quickly as well as be infused with a greater fighting spirit. When any planet resides at the initial moment of Aries (or Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn), it is considered to be on the Cardinal Axis, a point that reflects individuals’ connection to the whole, and as such the personal is often political. And with that, we often see significant movements on the world stage. Therefore, with Mercury at 0 degrees of Aries on Sunday, we may witness the distribution of messages that have quite a wide impact upon all of us.
Let’s now turn our attention to Mars.
On Tuesday, we have a Mars/Uranus Square. And with that, we’re encouraged to find a new way of moving forward. Instead of proceeding along your go-to path, notably one that doesn’t get you to where you really want to go, change up your strategy. Redefine and refine why and to where you want to proceed and feel propelled by this shifted orientation. If we hold too tight to the same-old same-old when it comes to pursuing our desires, we may find ourselves barraged by agitation and annoyance. Consider ways to change it up, including how you deal with any frustrations you feel when your efforts to achieve something are blocked.
All the while, expect the unexpected. Be on the lookout for opportunities to pivot and go on a detour. What you discover while you’re not on the well-trodden path may be instrumental for strengthening your ability to be honest about your desires while also giving you clarity about how to better tap into and use your energy in the pursuit of your aims.
Speaking of Mars, remember this: it’s moving towards a conjunction with structured Saturn, which will occur exactly on April 4. As we continue to get closer to that time, it may become more and more important to have clarity and responsibility for our movements. Being slow and thoughtful about how and why we move will pay off in spades, while being errant may have us face consequences.
As such, consider that what you may learn this week with innovative Uranus squaring Mars is contributing to the insights you are developing on how to be a strategic and compassionate warrior for the things you want in your life, those that not only benefit you personally but the world around you. Whatever may get shaken up this week may give you further insights to help you refine your understanding of the best way to fight for just what it is that has meaning and significance to you.
