How was your weekend? How did the attune-to-nature Virgo New Moon squaring take-action Mars manifest for you?

For me, I felt compelled to be in motion. Notably on Saturday, I just wanted to move, both in my body and in my mind. I ended up not only getting a lot of work done but I also took my storehouse of energy into the garden. With clippers in one hand, I pruned plants that had become overly wily while with the other hand I weeded overgrowth that seemed to have sprung up overnight. Making order in the garden felt very Virgo-inspired.

Yet even that didn’t seem to curtail my storehouse of energy.

And so I ended up walking three miles to the natural wine shop that my husband manages. As I did, ambling upon the street that I drive on most every day, I noticed many things that I hadn’t seen before: interesting building facade details, how the traffic flows, and even a cute store to which I want to return.

Isn’t it interesting how when you move in a different way, and alter your sight line, it completely shifts your orientation and what you notice and appreciate?

Consider what arose for you this weekend, what you may have found yourself newly accessing. See how you may want to attend to it this week to allow it to further flourish. Given that this week features a sweet sextile between galvanized Mars and expansive Jupiter, we may have another sizeable rash of energy at our disposal to advance a project and/or nascent perspective.

Also this week we have a Mercury/Jupiter Opposition. And with that we can set our sights upon further exploration of ideas and communication strategies that will connect us to a greater level of understanding.

What’s particularly interesting to me about this alignment is that owing to Mercury’s upcoming retrograde cycle (September 9 – October 2), there will be two other times in the coming month that it will occur; the next will be on September 18 and then again on October 12.

As such, the big visions you have over the coming days may be more fully refined over the next month and a half. As that mid-September date arrives, when the messenger planet is retrograde, information sources or conversations from the past may serve to widen your vantage point to further assess how to best get your messages across. And then when the final Mercury/Jupiter connection occurs in October, you may find that you have attained a greater holistic understanding of the subject matter you’ve been contemplating. The broadened perspective that this yields will gift you not only with greater confidence but additional skill to more powerfully share your ideas with others.
