Inspiring Words of the Week (May 16 - 22)
Each week on the What's New page, I share a quote that moves me, one that often feels like it reflects a special vantage point for the week that we are moving through. This week's quote is by Martha Graham.
"Practice means to perform, over and over again in the face of all obstacles, some act of vision, of faith, of desire. Practice is a means of inviting the perfection desired."
I love this quote, notably for the here and now. After all, the Sun, Mercury (retrograde) and Venus all in body- and sense-oriented Taurus, the sign that reminds us of the virtue of practice. Additionally, with Mars in Sagittarius (retrograde), we're continuing to get experiences that show us the importance of looking to the horizon, to our goals, to our visions. And with the Sun opposing Mars this weekend, it's a time of being pulled into the flames of passion, desire, and will.
As such, Graham's quote seems quite appropriate, as well as one possible formula to navigate the week's possibilities.
Have a wonderful week....
