Stellar Insights: January 20 - 26, 2020
The week begins with the advent of Aquarius Season. The week also begins with the celebration of a most wise and courageous man, one who shifted history, one who inspired—and continues to inspire—millions, one who carved a path for social justice to emerge: Martin Luther King, Jr.
Instead of my words this week, I share with you some of his, including those that I feel capture the current stellar invitations, including that of Thursday’s Aquarius New Moon.
“Only in the darkness can you see the stars.”
“The time is always right to do what is right.”
"The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy."
"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly."
"Science investigates; religion interprets. Science gives man knowledge, which is power; religion gives man wisdom, which is control. Science deals mainly with facts; religion deals mainly with values. The two are not rivals."
