It’s the last week of Scorpio season, a time in which we’re digging in deep and digging up things that were buried. It may seem as if there’s a lot of energy behind this revealing given that we just had a New Moon and Mars is now moving forward in champion-your-desire Aries.

What’s been previously shrouded for you that now seems to have a force behind it pushing it to emerge? For each of us, it may be different.

Perhaps, it’s a project idea you previously felt you didn’t have the capacity/resources to pull off, but now find yourself with the passion and confidence to work on it.

Perhaps it’s a conversation you’ve been putting off with someone near and dear, about a subject that’s sensitive or a grievance that needs to be aired so that it doesn’t continue to fester.

Perhaps, it’s the recognition and embrace of a fear that’s been pushed aside for too long, which now wants to be given the light of day, and given voice, so that it can begin to loosen its hold.

Perhaps, it’s a past hurt that has gotten covered up by layers of time and space, intentionally done so because of its rawness, but which is now calling out to be revisited and reexamined.

Or perhaps it’s something else.

It’s may be easy to identify. Just see what may be stirring for you, magnetizing your attention, having you experience a push-pull, and/or feeling really sticky.

With this week’s Mercury/Uranus Opposition, we may find ourselves experiencing surprises that can help shake us out of staid perspectives, allowing us to further see how things we didn’t think were possible may very well be. A desire to break out of pattern to create new patterns, notably when it comes to communication and getting your message across, may seem important. Being flexible and staying bouncy, and considering that something out of the blue may give you insights into forging a new blueprint may be a good strategy.

If this Mercury/Uranus Opposition sounds familiar it’s because it’s the third in a sequence given Mercury’s recent retrograde cycle. The last two were October 8 and October 19. See if a thread exists between ideas and/or events that arose then related to communication and understanding and those that are emerging now to gain further insight into how to manifest more clarity.

Saturday begins Sagittarius Season, a time in which we find ourselves on a quest to explore and discover. This Sagittarius Season features two eclipses, a Gemini Lunar Eclipse on November 30 and a Sagittarius Solar Eclipse on December 14. More about these events in the coming weeks.

PS. In a NPR’s All Things Considered interview last week about her new book of poem, Dearly, author/poet Margaret Atwood noted “What would a life be if it were lived entirely in daylight. A nightmare.” I was so struck by that, and it felt so resonant with the depth, darkness, and holism of Scorpio season. I wrote about this connection, as well as what I saw as its link to sleep and dreams, on Instagram the other day. You can find my reflections here
