Shop Small For These Dreamy Gifts

Community is such a treasure, and one that I believe we will further appreciate in the new few years. I say this reflecting that we are on the heels of a once-every-twenty-year union between Jupiter and Saturn, which will be meeting up this time in Aquarius, the sign that reveres the collective, groups, and the power of the people. This alignment, known as the Great Conjunction, actually occurs on the Solstice (December 21).

Reflecting the power of community, I’ve come together with some of my favorite Seattle small businesses (plus an artist whose work is very special to me) who have created dreamy gift offerings that weave together some of their unique products and my new book The Complete Book of Dreams.

Even if none of these gift offerings align with your vision of what you want to gift your friends, family, and colleagues this holiday season, I hope you’ll explore the wares of these amazing small businesses, who add beauty and vitality to our community.

Fruitsuper

Looking for a treasure trove of beautiful + functional objects made by U.S. indy designers? Look no further than Fruitsuper. The gift packs they put together for my book (see them here and here) include a journal, candle, essential oil mist and tarot cards. Fruitsuper offers a whole host of gorgeous items and can customize a gift pack to meet your special needs.

Molly’s Bottle Shop

My favorite natural wine spot—Molly’s Bottle Shop—has created a gift for all the dreamy vinophiles on your holiday list. She’s paired my book with three wines: a bubbly Ancarani Indigeno (reflecting lucid dreams); a high-toned white Poggio Vermentino (reflecting recurring dreams); and an earthy red Domaine de Somail (reflecting telepathic dreams). Find the Dream Package here. (If you have any questions about her other offerings, you can reach Molly by DM via Instagram.)

Swan Dive

Ali Brownrigg is the beauty and brains behind Swan Dive which offers a wonderland of vintage clothing and feel-good gifts. (I’ve bought many a fashion treasure through Swan Dive!) She’s created a super-cool Sweet Dreams package featuring my book and both a bath soak and body/shampoo bar by Daughter of the Land. You can find it here.

SugarPill

My go-to spot for all things healing (think natural remedies) and beautiful (think magical personal care items plus exquisite chocolates and more), SugarPill carries my book which you can pair with a host of different sleep/dream goodies that they carry. Visit their Seattle store in Capitol Hill or their Instagram for more information on their products.

Elliott Bay Book Company

If you’re looking for an independent bookstore through which to purchase The Complete Book of Dreams (a signed one, actually), then head over to the website of the Elliott Bay Book Company, a Seattle institution for almost 40 years.

Sosha Creates

While not a Seattle business, I just had to include Sosha in my dreamy gift round-up since she’s an amazing artist whose illustrations grace the cover of The Complete Book of Dreams and are featured throughout (she also did the illustrations for my upcoming book, The Complete Guide to Astrological Self-Care). She created a Dreams Bundle pack that features my book and an awakenings journal kit sticker set, dreamer of dreams ephemera, manifesting dreams journal cards, and an exclusive permanent vinyl sticker based upon the book’s cover art. It’s a beautiful way to inspire your dream journalling. (The kits are a limited edition offering; if they happen to be sold out, be sure to explore Sosha’s other stationery and journalling offerings as they are gorgeous.)
