The Power of Collectives

With eyes on December’s great conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in Aquarius, which opens a 20-year cultural cycle, we’re seeing how collectives—and their potential for not only individual but community healing—may be a powerful theme.

I’m reflecting this as I think to two new collectives that just launched, with which I am involved.

Healers

The first is Healers, a platform that serves as a go-to for accessing an array of healthcare professionals, a website for which I am astrologer in residence. (Each month you can access my astrowellness guides on their website.).

Last week on the Aquarius Full Moon, Healers added the capacity to not only find a healer matched to your needs but readily book a virtual session with scores of practitioners (including yours truly) who focus on everything from energy healing to holistic health coaching to breathwork to astrological guidance, and more.

I've actually designed special sessions that I offer just on this platform, including astrology sessions for those turning 30, 40, or 50, in which we explore the unique astrological invitations of this time. Additionally, I’m offering a Zodiac Self Care session in which we’ll explore lifestyle practices and natural remedies that may address your wellness needs, which we’ll further understand through your astrology chart. And, if you’re interested in exploring a dream (or two) through the lens of your astrology chart, you can schedule an AstroDreamwork session.

Check it out here. And if you subscribe to their newsletter you’ll receive 10% off your first session with any healer.

End of Life Collective

The other new collective that launched last week is the End of Life Collective (EOL), an online platform that brings together a worldwide array of resources that can help you live your life more powerfully by gathering information and resources to help you navigate plans and discussions regarding end of life.

EOL was birthed from a pioneering project that my friends launched seven years ago: Death Over Dinner, which has since sparked 1 million conversation about end-of-life wishes. This project was so striking because of the powerful need it met to help people talk about the one thing we’re notably not good at talking about—death and dying.

This week, they began a whole new journey! EOL (beta) is now live! And for the first time, families and individuals can create a simple end-of-life plan, find a community of caregivers, connect with the best providers on the planet and learn from brilliant experts...all in one place! EOL already has hundreds of the most extraordinary organizations, clinicians, doulas, therapists, celebrants, financial and legal advisors. Explore the site here. It’s free and available to everyone.

I can’t but help think of the amazing timing for the launch of the End of Life Collective, during this year in which we have not only the Saturn/Pluto Conjunction but also the Jupiter/Pluto Conjunction. These alignments reflect an encouragement to look at and work through Pluto-related subjects, including life and death, and our mortality.

For anyone who has undertaken the work of crafting a a will or living will, you know it can be something that feels fraught with emotion. And yet, how once you’ve completed it, there’s a sense of freedom and ease, a sense that you now have a foundation that allows you to move forward in your life. This feels like very Plutonian work—something from which we may naturally want to shy away but when we come face to face with that which we’re avoiding, we find a sense of power and steadiness by doing so.

Creating wills and living wills is just one of the things that EOL can help you do.
