Goodbye, 2021! Hello, 2022!
We had high hopes for 2021, after the shocking year of radical transformation that 2020 brought. And yet, as year whose major alignment featured a square-off between old-school Saturn and innovative Uranus, between upholding the rules vs breaking them, the old guard vs. the vanguard, and the power of the past vs. the potential fo the future, it makes sense that it was a year of great frustration for many. That’s not even taking into account the Uranian shocks and surprises that we’re facing including an end-of-year sense of dismay and/or disillusionment related to what seems like a ‘we’re here again/still?’ sentiment when it comes to the pandemic and other issues facing the world.
Yet, I’ve also born witness to another side of the shake-up that occurred this year, which you may have as well. Through countless conversations with clients, friends, famlly, and community members, i’ve noticed that the shake-up that many have been feeling has also been originating within themselves. The desire to change things up, to re-invent themselves, to shift up long-standing patterns that limit rather than encourage freedom. I’ve noticed that many felt this sense of breakthrough early in the year, and then while feeling a sense of not-fast-enough traction mid year, got a sense as the end of the year arrived, that all the patience, hard work, and refinement may finally be yielding more clarity and structure. That their desire to revolutionizing an aspect of their life, once an idea, is now taking form. I do feel like that’s one of the beneficial outcomes of the Saturn/Uranus Square that colored the kairos all year.
As we approach the end of this year, I’d encourage you to look back so you can more clearly look forward. Think back through the year to see how the Promethean urges to break free and do things a new way informed you. Consider where you were and where you are now with these freshly galvanized aims, those may have surprised you, stretched you to have the courage to go out on a limb to even consider architecting a structure to support them. See how they are now inspiring you to make meaningful shifts in your life and hold these visions in your mind as we enter into a new year, one that you can frame as filled with new possibility and potential.
WIth 2022—thanks to the Jupiter/Neptune Conjunction in Pisces—being a year in which we can use the power of our intuition, artistry, and longings to more consciously and compassionately live our dream life, we can take the lessons, inspirations, and visions we realized in 2021 and use them as our horizon to help us navigate our pathway forward in this new year.
