Stellar Insights: January 3 - 9, 2022

Happy New Year!

As the week begins, we’re focused upon the new, not only because it’s the first Monday and first week of 2022 but also because yesterday was the New Moon. With the Sun and Moon in Capricorn, this lunation invites us to carve a new path when it comes to the projects we want to achieve, how to claim responsibility, and/or how to conserve our resources.

 

With Jupiter squaring the Lunar Nodes on Monday, we may also find ourselves galvanized with a strong desire to grow and expand, to have life feel filled with more potential and possibility. Our focus is on the horizon and seeing what goals we want to place there. We’re called to learn and explore and broaden our vistas.

Venus also plays a starring role this week. As it makes a sweet sextile to dreamy Neptune, we may find ourselves appreciating the poetry of life and wanting to lose ourselves in great works of art.

 

It also plays a starring role given that Saturday features the inferior conjunction of it and the Sun, and with that, Venus begins its shift from being an evening star to a morning star. With Venus uniting with the Sun, we may find that part of what we want to reset this week has to do with our values – what we treasure and what we deem to be worthwhile as well as ways to uphold the value that we are. Relationships are also a realm in which we may be focused as we gain insights into those that have promising dynamics and those that may no longer be a gift to our lives.
