Aries new moon

This week may remind us that sometimes we just need to let go and trust the stream of life. That’s not to say that it’s simple; after all, when the path feels blurry or we find ourselves in a situation where we aren’t necessarily able to be the ship’s captain, it can be unsteadying. At this time, we may be able to find not only solace but wayfinding wisdom in turning to our intuition, our faith, our beliefs that transcend the rational while having us feel a sense of connection among something that feels much larger than ourselves. And if we find ourselves struggling, we should remember that our past can serve as strength; we should look back to see previous situations that resemble current ones and draw from the fountain of that experience, seeing it as a arsenal of fortitude and wisdom.

What has me saying all this? None other than the Mars/Neptune Square and Mercury/Chiron Conjunction that occurs Friday.

Of course, our personal experience may manifest differently. With the Mars/Neptune Square we could find ourselves feeling that our energy raises and/or plummets without reason or warning or choosing to act based upon flashes of intuition rather than reason or being tempted to sacrifice something treasured for the sake of another. Whereas with the Mercury/Chiron Conjunction we could find that someone’s words more readily triggers hurt within or that we have greater understanding as to the source of our sorrows or that we discover a resource that helps us to further our ability for healing within ourselves or others.

Regardless, this week it would behoove us to be more tender and compassionate, to all around, starting with ourselves. Through this we may find ourselves transcending some of the fears and limiting narratives that have stymied our ability to live with more ease and grace.

That said, that’s not the only highlight for the week.

On Sunday, we’ve got an Aries New Moon that inspires us to embark upon a new chapter, taking fresh steps to feel more emboldened and courageous in our pursuits. Given that Venus is also in Aries residing near the luminaries, relationships, money, beauty, and fairness may be themes that capture our attention. Yet with Pluto squaring Venus, the pathway to a sense of peace may take us through some underground tunnels, in which we need to unearth what’s hidden, embrace our fears, and meet/greet our shadow (individually, and perhaps collectively). It does feel like a time when new beginnings are available and yet they require us to release what’s old/outworn and depleting our vitality. Being honest, really digging in to what you find to be valuable, and having faith that you have what it takes to marshal your will to embark upon a pioneering journey seem like key strategies to move through this time with more clarity and confidence.

That all may feel quite heavy. Yet, there is a bit of celestial support along the way. The Venus/Mars Sextile encourages us to align what we love and desire. While the Mercury/Saturn Sextile and Venus/Jupiter Sextile—sandwiched between the events I spoke of earlier—may encourage us to be able to craft messages that have powerful meaning at the behest of what we know to be true, valuable, and worthwhile.

All my best,

Stephanie
