Aries New Moon Affirmation

Knowledge is power.... and a powerful self-care strategy-17.png

Today's Aries New Moon inspires us to embark upon a new chapter, taking fresh steps to feel more emboldened and courageous in our pursuits. Given that Venus is also in Aries residing near the luminaries, relationships, money, beauty, and fairness may be themes that capture our attention. Yet with Pluto squaring Venus, the pathway to a sense of peace may take us through some underground tunnels, in which we need to unearth what’s hidden, embrace our fears, and meet/greet our shadow (individually, and perhaps collectively). It does feel like a time when new beginnings are available and yet they require us to release what’s old/outworn and depleting our vitality. Being honest, really digging in to what you find to be valuable, and having faith that you have what it takes to marshal your will to embark upon a pioneering journey seem like key strategies to move through this time with more clarity and confidence.

"I lay claim to my desires" is one of the affirmations I include in the Aries New Moon section of my new book, The Complete Guide to Astrological Self-Care. Each of the 24 New Moons and Full Moons has a page dedicated to it that includes its associated opportunities, challenges, affirmations, and self-care rituals. Each also includes Stellar Reflections Journaling Questions that will help you attune to the invitations that the lunation offers. To get a glimpse inside the book, I thought to share the Aries New Moon page with you below. Remember that the energy of a New Moon continues for several days and so you can use this information to help guide you not only on the day of the New Moon, April 11, but for days afterwards. (For more on pre-ordering my new book, the free virtual book launch event I’m doing, and the sneak peek materials you can access by doing so, see here.)
