Practically speaking, what do you want to initiate, what do you want to give birth to, what seeds do you want to plant?

I ask because Tuesday’s New Moon is in Taurus, the sign of the practical, the grounded, the spirited mundane. Think about what new creation—whether a habit, a way of orienting, something of structure, etc.—could have you feeling more connected to your inherent rhythm, inspired by sensual pleasures, and feeling that life is flourishing.

I also think that setting this intention can be practical as well given that we’re about to experience a big shift in energy this week as expansive Jupiter swims from Aquarius to Pisces on Thursday. Mind you, it has not completed its current journey in altruistic, collective-centric, science-is-real Aquarius as it will return there on July 28 (staying put until it then re-enters Pisces on December 29).

Through Thursday, with Jupiter in the end of Aquarius, we may find ourselves super  electrified. A buzz is in the air and we could experience a pull towards an overly intellectualized approach to situations. This is one of the reasons that the Taurus New Moon happening during this passage feels really nurturing as it can help us feel grounded at a time when we may otherwise feel that our circuitry really amped up.

As Jupiter surfs through Pisces, it may seem like there’s a newfound sense of ease that arises; after all, Jupiter is the traditional ruler of this sign. We’re opened up to our dreams and all that is possible. As a wave of compassion surrounds and inspires us, we may find that it’s easier to recognize the ease that comes with going with the flow rather than swimming upstream. Things may feel softer, with hard edges seemingly desiring to dissolve. Speaking of dissolving though, it’s important to remember that as you find divides softening that you still watch your boundaries so that you don’t find yourself depleted, giving more than is truly possible (and healthful).

Surround yourself with beauty and allow yourself to tap into the stream of love. And don’t forget to dial up your muse: she’s been waiting for your call, ready to help you connect to the flow of inspiration that keeps you feeling moved, touched, and inspired.
