Stellar Insights: November 21 - 27, 2022

It’s a week of looking forward.

While honoring the past, look to the horizon. Consider what you would like to place there, to what goals/aims/visions you aspire. Remember that the future, while informed by what came before, need not have to be a mirror-image replica of the past.

On Monday, messenger Mercury comes together with values-driven Venus in exploratory Sagittarius. And with that, we may have more access to knowing just how it is that we want to expand our world. Conversations with those with whom we feel a strong affinity allow us to gain a wider lens on subjects that intrigue us.

All the while, as this occurs on the last full day of Scorpio Season, there is still great potential that we may be connecting to the depths of our feelings and trying to suss out long-held secrets. If you feel emotionally shaken or stirred, focus upon what feeling or memory seems to be rising to the surface and becoming more consciously visible. This may be a precious key to unlocking a trove of treasures.

The quest to understand the complex dimensionality of life may feel even more present come Wednesday. That’s the day of the Sagittarius New Moon, a yearly lunation that inspires us to seek truth, set out on voyages, discover meaning, and look at things from high-above vantage point. The desire for expansion and growth that it activates will likely feel much greater this year. That’s because Jupiter—the planet that’s the president of the “more is more” fan club—stations direct on this day as well.

Jupiter not only rules Sagittarius but also Pisces, the sign in which it is currently located. As you know, when a planet stations in the process of shifting directions, that which it represents—as modified by the sign it is in—becomes more pronounced in the collective. As such don’t be surprised if this week, subjects such as dreams, spirituality, the oceans, healing, intuition, magic-making, artistry, glamour, and empathy don’t but take center stage. That said, be very careful about your boundaries, as they may feel more diffuse. On the other hand, it’s a powerful time to tune in and learn how to bolster them in a way that nurtures you and showers you with compassion.
