Astrological Insights: February 13 - 25, 2024

Did you find this past week to be stirring? What things rose to the surface that had been previously buried? What intricate feelings did intimate experiences yield? I ask these questions as they are some that touch on the swirl of intense movements these past days may have yielded reflecting the union of unearthing Pluto connecting to both action-oriented Mars and worth-revering Venus. And while those exact alignments occurred last week (February 14 and 17, respectively), their ripples may still be evident, notably as we look to integrate what arose in a way that transforms our stance towards ourselves, others, and the world around us. This feels even more resonant given that Venus and Mars unite this Thursday; and with that, we may find a way to align what we love and value with what we desire in a way that feels deeply mobilizing and energizing.

Also, as we enter the week, the Sun slides into Pisces, and we swim into a month of sensitivity and empathy, softness and spatiality. These weeks carry with them a dissolving energy: as boundaries blur, what is yours and what is another’s may seem less discrete. And with this, we open to waves of compassion, love, forgiveness, and soulful union.

Of course, while fusion can bring tenderness and a remembrance of interconnectedness, it can also elevate a proclivity for merging, co-dependency, and enabling. So, as you open to the ocean of emotions that seem closer to the shores of your heart this month, just watch out for feeling infused with a giving orientation that depletes rather than sustains.

Also moving into Pisces, where it will reside for several weeks, is messenger Mercury. And with this, we may discover a yearning to find ourselves through losing ourselves, in our thoughts, our hearts, our dreams, and our fusion with artistic inspirations.
