An Archetype of Corona: The Crown

Corona. With the coronavirus being at center stage, we say, read, and hear the word *corona* so much that I've been thinking about what it signifies, its archetypal essence.

Of course it has many meanings. In addition to a circle of light surrounding planetary bodies and an architectural element, it signifies crown or head.

Then as I read about Boris Johnson today testing positive for the virus, and then thought of Prince Charles who also did, and thought of the pressure that *heads of state* are under with this crisis (and how they are responding), I then thought...ooh, is this another reflection of the Saturn/Pluto Conjunction and Jupiter/Pluto Conjunction in Capricorn, the sign that embodies leaders and governmental structures?

Of course, while astrologers may also assign the crown of corona to Leo and the Sun, I can't help but think how the upending of societal structures that is occurring, including how *heads of state* are operating, isn't but also a strong feature, and one that feels very Capricorn, and very connected to the astrological influences of this time.
