Stellar Insights: March 9 - 15, 2020

Astrologically speaking, Monday is quite a day (actually non-astrologically speaking it’s also quite a day given all that is unfolding around the world). As I shared last week, Monday features both the Virgo Full Moon and Mercury shifting direct, ending its current retrograde cycle. To be efficient, something that Virgo prizes, instead of repeating my thoughts about them here, i’d like to share with you a link to an article I wrote in which I reflect upon its invitations.

I’ve been infused with thoughts related to individual and public health as inspired by the coronavirus/COVID-19 epidemic. It all feels very close to me, both because of what I see occurring in the world and also because I live in Seattle, the place in the U.S. that has the largest outbreak at this moment.

The other day when I was making a DIY hand sanitizer (how Virgo Full Moon!), I decided to add flower essences to it to help address the flurry of feelings that were arising in me owing to the virus outbreak. I was sharing with a dear friend that using the spray helped me to find a sense of deeper calm and he suggested that I write about this as he felt that others might find it helpful/interesting. This became the inspiration for an article on using flower essences in the here/now that I just wrote this morning which you can find here.

Another thing that’s been on my mind recently has been how while Saturn will not enter Aquarius until March 21 that it seems as if we’re having a preview of it, notably related to how themes connected to the community have been so highlighted recently given the virus epidemic. Sorry if this week’s Stellar Insights are so COVID-19 focused. Yet, with the week beginning with a health/healing-oriented Virgo Full Moon as well as Mercury in Aquarius shifting direct, inspiring communications that may stretch patterns, it does seem quite aligned with the times. Plus, it feels really important to me.
