With Venus just entering Aquarius, we have an even more stellar line-up of planets in the forward-thinking honor-the-collective sign. In addition to the planet of love and values, the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter, and Saturn are also in this mind-oriented sign. And whether or not we’re truly in the “Age of Aquarius” as some note, this and next week feel like a moment that we may truly be vibing with the freedom-loving, technologically oriented, peace-love-understanding-focused, and we’re-all-in-this-together vibes of Aquarius. (You could even find yourself listening to this on repeat. I have a sense I will be.)

This week it’s Venus and Saturn that meet up, reminding us how important it is to value our value and not to discount it. We may find ourselves taking a good, hard look at our relationships, seeing whether any work is required to have them yield more richness. That said, we could also find ourselves experiencing consequences for any corners cut or steps skipped when it comes to partnerships, how we declare our worth, and/or money matters. Taking responsibility, learning from the past, and remembering that time is a valuable ingredient in any recipe are some maxims that may afford insight this week.

That said, the pathway forward in this journey may not be a straight one. That’s because it’s not just Saturn that’s connecting with Venus, but also Uranus as well. And so, you may find that a key in discovering what is valuable, pleasurable, beautiful, and worthwhile is to look at this realm from a different perspective than usual. Experiment, try perceiving things from a non-ordinary angle, go on a detour….proceed with a beginner’s mind.

What you may discover may not only have value this week but also this whole year, and onward. That’s because these Venus-featuring alignments happen on the heels of the first of three shake-it-up Saturn/Uranus Squares that color the kairos all year; while this square-off between the old guard and the vanguard will be felt all of 2021—and likely into 2022—the three dates that it occurs exactly are February 17, June 14, and December 24. With this week’s Venus tie-in, it feels like it could be constructive to hone in on how creating a new container for change in our lives could be really valuable. It’s not necessarily that we need to architect this new structure this week, of course; but rather taking time to reflect upon it may provide us with great visions. Consider how giving yourself freedom to pivot, invent, and re-invent this year may help you claim a deeper sense of liberty and creative spark that will not only benefit you but the communities of which you are a valuable member.
